The
Heights
The Heights precinct at The Longyard Estate was completed in 2010. It
is a precinct consisting of 160 lots and a range of apartments, terrace houses & villas. The Heights has sold out, but it provides access to 'The Peak' which still has a number of outstanding blocks for sale.
The Jamie Durie (from TV's Backyard Blitz) designed Boulevard Place which overlooks the
golf course, is home to terrazzo work by world famous terrazzo
artist, David Humphries. The “Spiral River” creates the Heights
Piazza and is the focal point of the village centre. At the eastern
end of Boulevard Place, it is surrounded by extensive landscaping,
meandering paths and shaded by cut leaf plane trees.
The Heights Cafe and Samsara Spa overlook both the golf course
and the Piazza. Tables and chairs spill onto the footpath shaded
by the overhead verandah. There is also seating in the Piazza
area under umbrellas.
Samsara Day Spa is the perfect place to treat yourself or a
loved one. Offering everyday beauty essentials such as waxing,
nails and tanning. They specialise in luxurious Thai based treatments
and packages.
The
Heights Cafe Bar & Store
is open daily from 8am. The kitchen offers meals all day and
it is proving to be a very popular destination with local Heights
residents as well as drawing patrons from all over town.
The menu is modern, the atmosphere relaxed and certainly family
friendly. With corner store items and the daily papers,
it is the perfect accompaniment to life at The Heights. A takeaway
menu caters for those busy lunches or dinners.
The particular liquor license held by the cafe allows you to
call in and have a drink with friends without having to dine,
making it the perfect place to unwind after work.
